SICAT expands its Surgical Guide Production Site!

As a result of our ongoing expansion we have outgrown our present Surgical Guide Production Site at the SICAT headquarters.

Since June 1st, 2011 the SICAT Surgical Guide Lab has been fully operational at its new location: Schwertbergerstrasse 14, Bonn, Germany.

The current phone numbers and our headquarters at Brunnenallee 6 in Bonn, Germany will remain unchanged.

New sleeve systems integrated:
SIC invent AG and Meisinger

Recently, two new guided surgery systems have been integrated with SICAT Surgical Guides.

The “3D-Navigation-Control” by Meisinger is an implant-independent sleeve-in-sleeve-system which offers several inner sleeves as well as compatible drills.

Important characteristics of the “SIC Guided Surgery System”, by SIC invent AG are its compactness, efficiency and ergonomics of the instrumentarium.

FDA clearance for SICAT Implant

We are happy to announce the FDA clearance of SICAT Implant Version 1.2.

SICAT Implant users with a current Software Update Agreement will receive the new version automatically.

Gap-free seat of radiographic templates

SICAT CLASSICGUIDE's are known for their high and documented production accuracy.

To guarantee high precision, a secure and stable fit of the radiographic template in the patients mouth is important. We recommend checking each 3D scan to ensure the accurate fit of the radiographic template.

To check for possible gaps between radiographic template and teeth, the tab “MPR/Radiology” should be used to scroll through the volume in the Coronal and Saggital slices. If a gap becomes apparent please check with the SICAT team to determine if the 3D scan can be used regardless.
