NEW: SICAT OPTIGUIDE surgical guides are now available!

Bonn, 04-24-2012. With the new OPTIGUIDE SICAT has added a new dimension to its line of precise and cost-efficient surgical guides.

SICAT OPTIGUIDEs are based on optical surface scan data and 3D-x-ray data, and are produced directly in the SICAT lab. Digital data transfer combined with the elimination of radiographic templates enables a more efficient and speedy workflow from start to finish. Implant planning, surgery and subsequent care can be performed more quickly than ever.

After the 3D-x-ray scan of the patient with the CT or Conebeam system of choice the implant planning in SICAT Implant can immediately follow. Instead of producing a radiographic template with prosthetic proposal, the dentist simply imports optical surface scan data (CEREC, Sirona Dental Systems) directly into the software. If no CAD/CAM system is available, the user can alternatively send a previously fabricated stone model to SICAT and we will obtain the optical surface scan for the dentist.

OPTIGUIDE is also available with all the standard options: pilot sleeves, generic sleeves or sleeves for guided surgical systems. All of which can be determined and selected by the user directly in the software.

Naturally the quality and safety of OPTIGUIDEs are assured. SICAT documents and guarantees the production accuracy of every SICAT surgical guide at the apical end of the implant to be within 0,5mm. The simplification of the OPTIGUIDE workflow stands for significant timesavings. OPTIGUIDEs help the dentist obtain the desired treatment outcome with a precise and safe procedure every time.
