Expansion of the SICAT Surgical Guide Production Center

Bonn, 08-29-2011 Since the company was established in 2004, SICATs main area of expertise has been the development and production of cost-efficient, user-friendly software and surgical guides. During this time, SICAT has been able to maintain a constant rate of growth in both of these fields. In fact, increased demand for these products necessitated the expansion of the Surgical Guide Production Center.

As of June 2011 SICAT has relocated its surgical guide production facility to Schwertbergerstraße 14, in Bonn, Germany (Picture 1). Achieving a maximum level of quality and maintaining highly-precise, state-of-the-art testing systems are considered standard at SICAT. Each and every surgical guide is rigorously tested to guarantee the highest level of accuracy. Moreover, the results are documented and provided to the customer along with the delivery of the surgical guide. The SICAT headquarters at Brunnenallee 6 in Bonn, Germany remain unchanged and will continue to function as the hub of software development, marketing, sales and administration.

Coming in Fall 2011 is the new SICAT OPTIGUIDE surgical guide – a guide based on optical surface scan data. For more information on SICAT and its products, please visit www.portal.sicat.com.
