What is SICAT Clinical Assist?

SICAT Clinical Assist takes care of your digital 3D implant planning based on your specifications, taking the targeted prosthetic into account. Specially trained SICAT experts implement the technical planning proposals for you.

What does the SICAT Clinical Assist service cost?

All costs at a glance:

  • Base fee (1 Implant included + Implant Viewer file + 1 online case discussion): $99
  • Fee for additional implants (a maximum of 2 additional implants will be charged): each $50

How long does it take until you receive the planning proposal from SICAT?

As a rule, you will receive the SICAT Clinical Assist planning proposal within 3 working days, starting from the date SICAT receives all information and materials required. In individual cases, the delivery time may be extended by one working day. This applies, if the case needs to be further discussed internally with the SICAT planning team to guarantee the best possible results.

What materials are required to place a SICAT Clinical Assist order with SICAT CLASSICGUIDE?

Using our SICAT Clinical Assist checklist, please make sure to provide the following items:

  • A completed SICAT Clinical Assist order form
  • DICOM data via SIDEXIS export. Patient must be wearing a radiographic template during the CBCT scan.
  • Radiographic template
  • A stone model of the current clinical situation

What materials are required to place a SICAT Clinical Assist order with SICAT OPTIGUIDE?

Using our SICAT Clinical Assist checklist, please make sure to provide the following required items:

  • A completed SICAT Clinical Assist order form
  • DICOM data via SIDEXIS export.
  • Radiographic template
  • Optical surface scan as SSI file and/or stone model of the current clinical situation.

What materials are required to place a SICAT Clinical Assist order with SICAT DIGITALGUIDE?

Using our SICAT Clinical Assist checklist, please make sure to provide the following required items:

  • A completed SICAT Clinical Assist order form
  • DICOM data via SIDEXIS export.
  • Optical surface scan as SSI file and/or stone model of the current clinical situation.

What kind of additional information would be important for SICAT to proceed your planning?

The order form includes the field “Additional Information”. This is where you should fill in all kind of information, which you think the expert should be aware of when proceeding your implant planning in the best possible quality. (Patient history, sinus and/or bone augmentation, bone splitting, bone reduction, etc. …)

How is my case planned and who controls the planning?

Each case is individually planned based on your specifications provided in the order form. The technical planning proposal will be sent to you for medical review in a 3D Viewer file. If required, every case can be jointly discussed and adjusted in an online discussion, prior to your final approval for the surgical guide production.

What do the SICAT Clinical Assist planning service and a SICAT surgical guide cost all together?

The price depends on the type of surgical guide, the type of sleeve selected, and the quantity of sleeves ordered (per implant).

What types of surgical guides does SICAT offer?

With SICAT CLASSICGUIDE, SICAT OPTIGUIDE and SICAT DIGITALGUIDE SICAT offers a wide range of surgical guides. For detailed information refer to the SICAT Surgical Guide Manual

How much time does SICAT need to produce a surgical guide?

The maximum production time for a SICAT surgical guide is 6 working days, starting from the date SICAT receives all information and materials required.
